Our Story · Est. 2024
A new house.
Six weaving regions.
The Rudraanshi Promise
We do not manufacture sarees.
We carry them out of villages.
Every Rudraanshi saree begins as a conversation on a weaver's verandah — about the thread count he can hold this season, the zari his family can afford to buy, the motif his mother taught him. We commission, wait, and collect. Between 30 and 90 days later, a saree exists that did not exist before.
That is why our catalogue is small and our stock counts are honest. A Kadwa Banarasi with genuine tested zari cannot be produced at volume, and we refuse to sell a power-loom imitation under a handloom name. If a listing says "handwoven", a named human wove it.
We pay the full agreed price on collection day, in cash, before we have sold anything. It is the only arrangement that keeps young weavers on the loom instead of on construction sites — and it is the single most important thing your purchase funds.
No Middlemen
We buy at the loom and pay in full on collection day — never on credit, never after sale.
40+ Weaving Families
From Uttar Pradesh's Kadwa masters to Kanchipuram's Korvai households, ours is a named supply chain.
Certified Authenticity
Silk Mark and Handloom Mark tags accompany every piece, with a signed weaver certificate.
Natural Dyes First
Where tradition allows, we commission vegetable and mineral dyes over synthetic alternatives.
Our Journey
From a wooden trunk to pan-India
2024
A question at a Panvel loom fair
Two of us kept meeting the same problem — beautiful handlooms sold with no idea who wove them, at prices the weaver never saw.
2025
Six clusters, one summer
We travelled to Uttar Pradesh, Kanchipuram, Mysuru, Bhuj, Maheshwar and Chanderi and commissioned our first forty pieces in person.
Late 2025
Paid upfront, on collection day
We committed to paying every weaver in full when we collect — before a single saree is sold. It remains our only non-negotiable.
2026
Rudraanshi opens pan-India
Our New Panvel atelier now ships insured to 19,000+ pincodes, with 7-day returns and a signed weaver certificate in every box.
